Above the Felt Entertainment is proud to partner with Venetian Las Vegas for the highly anticipated grand opening of its expansive new poker room, set to be the largest in Las Vegas. This collaboration promises an unprecedented lineup of events and experiences designed to captivate poker enthusiasts during August and September.
Scheduled for August 1st, the grand opening festivities will kick off with a meet-up cash game featuring Above the Felt's top poker personalities, including Jeremy Ausmus, Farah Galfond, Matt Berkey, Maria Konnikova, Jamie Kerstetter, Jaman Burton, Landon Tice and more. Attendees can expect fun and action-filled gameplay alongside these renowned figures, marking a momentous occasion in the world of poker.
The celebration will continue throughout August and September with a series of exclusive events. Highlights include a women’s poker meet-up game hosted by Jamie Kerstetter, known for her extensive poker and broadcasting skills, along with women’s advocacy in the poker community. Additionally, GPI poker vlogger of the year Jaman Burton will host a content creator meet-up cash game, offering fans a chance to engage with one of the industry’s leading poker vloggers and his friends.
Another unique event during the grand opening period is the Above the Felt Bounty Tournament, featuring an affordable $400 buy-in with exciting incentives for players who successfully knock out team members of Above the Felt. This tournament promises intense competition and lucrative rewards for poker players of all levels, adding to the excitement surrounding the new poker room's debut.
A $1,100 / $500,000 guarantee poker tournament and Above the Felt finale meet-up cash game will round out the Venetian poker room grand opening festivities in September.
