Farah Fath Galfond worked professionally as an actor on daytime television from 1999-2012. During her 5 year stint on a New York City soap, Farah was introduced to Texas Holdem by her cast & crew. She fell in love with the game and began spending her weekends in Atlantic City playing recreationally. After the show’s cancellation in 2012, she moved back to the west coast and met her now husband, Phil Galfond. With Phil’s guidance, Farah took to studying the game with a more serious intent. She made the transition from soap star to poker pro by 2016 and hasn’t looked back, amassing cash game profits in the 7 figures.
